2016 SMTO Conference

The SMTO AGM & Annual Conference takes place March/April each year. 

The 2016 event will be presented by Noah Karrasch, adv cert rolfer, LMT, developer of CORE® Work, on 19/20 March 2016. The 2-day hands-on workshop is entitled "Top Ten Problem Spots". The venue is Edinburgh Academy Junior School, 10 Arboretum Road, Edinburgh EH3 5PL. 

While during the course of the two day conference we’ll address some of the philosophical issues of touch such as appropriate depth, soothing the vagus nerve, and creating safe relationships (see my new book Getting Better at Getting People Better, Singing Dragon 2015). My focus in addressing the group will be practical, hands-on training for what I think of as my top results-getters over the last 30 years. To that end, we’ll work through my list of the top ten problem spots and how I address asking for change in them. We’ll employ lecture time, then demonstration, and finally partnerships on each of the spots, learning various techniques and ideas that will be effective time after time. We’ll include one ‘generic/one size fits most’ awareness cue for each of our problem areas. If you feel you’ve gotten stuck in your work and are hungry for new tools, these two days will be of help.
